Veda H. Green is a passionate teacher, gifted author, and dynamic speaker. A graduate of Old Dominion University with a Master’s degree in Education, she is a veteran teacher with nearly 20 years of experience and the founder of Building Brighter Kids.

Veda’s experience as a teacher and mother, coupled with her humorous storytelling skills, have enabled her to inspire women to embrace their past, heal from the wounds of that past, and create a brighter future for themselves and their children.

Veda is the author of “Building Brighter Kids from Kindergarten to College” and is currently writing the second book of the BBK book series. As a motivational speaker and educational trainer for schools, churches, parent organizations, and women’s conferences, Veda offers her audience real-life tools, tips, and strategies to encourage them step out of the darkness of their own past and to shine their light brightly!

Veda has been blessed with the privilege of mothering three beautiful children, and because of them, she has had the courage to live life unapologetically! Veda’s motto is, “Live Fully. Laugh Loudly. Love Deeply.” When Veda’s not busy fulfilling her Building Brighter Kids dream or teaching science, she enjoys reading, dancing, and traveling.
