Winifred A. Winston is a special education school administrator, educator, author, speaker, advocate, and business coach. She is also the founder of Dyslexia Advocation™, which seeks to educate, empower, and equip African-American parents with tools to support their children with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, or other language learning differences. The organization serves populations lacking access to accurate information about dyslexia interventions and instructional strategies. 

Additionally, Winifred is a volunteer state leader for a dyslexia grassroots organization and co-founder of their local advocacy and support group for parents and children in Baltimore City, Maryland.
